Steven D. Sandbrook, CMSP
President & Owner
Steven D. Sandbrook is a Certified Mine Safety Professional with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mine Safety Management and over 30 years of experience in mine safety and regulatory compliance. His experience includes working as a safety professional in surface and underground mining operations. Early in his career he was responsible for the development of training materials with respect to the Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) as well as performing air balance, methane, noise, dust, and heat stress surveys. Later in his career, he was responsible for the development and implementation of safety procedures and policies, and training materials with respect to MSHA. He later performed safety and loss audits with follow up corrective engineering control studies and design. He also prepared State and Federal environmental emergency response plans.
Presently, as the President of Eagle Mine Safety, located in Nazareth, Pennsylvania, Mr. Sandbrook is responsible for the development and implementation of safety procedures and policies and training materials with respect to MSHA and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) federal regulations. In addition, he currently performs noise, dust (respirable and non respirable), heat stress elimination, ergonomic and process safety surveys for the mining industry. Additionally, Mr. Sandbrook evaluates incidents occurring in surface (quarries) and underground mining operations to determine the nature and cause of their occurrence. Specifically he evaluates mine and quarry operations, accessibility, guarding, safety, and compliance with current State and Federal regulatory agencies.
